Growing up in a family that thrived in hospitality, it’s no surprise that founder Archie Clark took his first culinary footsteps to the east, a land where Guest is God and family meals define the day. The sensual riot of Asian cultures and customs became a guiding light for Archie’s own food philosophy, and Kochi Kitchen was born.
Our style is a little different to that taught in cookery schools. Instead, we believe in making food that is inspired by the intimacy of family homes & tables. Food which, when electrified by Asian cooking techniques, makes Kochi Kitchen’s approach unique.
We want to create dishes that break taboo, and reject tradition. To build events where food isn’t just a background detail – it’s the unifying energy that brings us together.
